From September 2–4, Ausfenex 2025 in Benowa, Queensland, will bring together leaders in Australia’s glass, window, and door sector. Viprotron, together with its established partner OGA, will present advanced inspection solutions designed to raise production standards across the region.
Central to their showcase is the Temper Scanner 5D, Viprotron’s most sophisticated system for tempered glass evaluation. Using patented TrueEdge™ technology, it delivers precise, repeatable, and fully documented measurements, detecting optical distortions such as saddle, hammer, pocket, waviness, and edge curvature. Results are expressed in milli-diopters and millimetres, ensuring objective quality criteria and traceable data for every pane.
The system also quantifies anisotropy, localises haze, and detects optical defects in bright-field and reflection channels. Although the scanner itself will not be on display, its functionality will be demonstrated through software and simulation data, giving visitors a clear view of its capabilities.
