Hardware specialist VBH has officially joined the Glass & Glazing Federation (GGF), marking a strategic step in strengthening its position within the industry. The company confirmed that its membership became effective at the end of March.
Founded in 1982, VBH has built a strong reputation as a leading manufacturer and supplier of high-quality hardware and ancillary products for windows and doors across all materials. Its portfolio includes the widely recognised greenteQ brand, alongside distribution partnerships with established names such as AGB, Cotswold, Roto, Securistyle and Yale.
The move reflects VBH’s intention to play a more active role in shaping industry standards and engaging with key stakeholders. The GGF is widely recognised for its influence in representing the glass and glazing sector, particularly in discussions with government bodies and regulatory authorities.
According to managing director Richard Gyde, the decision to join was driven by the federation’s depth of expertise and its role in advocating for the industry at a national level. He highlighted the value of collaboration within the GGF, noting that both partners and competitors contribute significant knowledge and experience.
