Uniglass is expanding its product portfolio with a new EVA Laminating Solution designed to help glass processors move beyond standard glass production and enter higher-value architectural, decorative, smart glass and specialty markets.
The new platform provides a flexible production solution for manufacturing a broad range of laminated glass products, including architectural and curved laminated glass, switchable privacy glass, security glazing, decorative glass, LED glass and photovoltaic panels. By converting standard glass into more specialized products, processors can increase the added value and margin potential of every square metre produced.
A key application is smart glass production. EVA technology allows switchable films to be integrated directly into the laminated structure, supporting the production of privacy glazing for offices, residential buildings, hotels and interior spaces. This creates opportunities for processors to respond to growing demand for adaptable and technologically advanced glazing solutions.
The system is also designed to accommodate both large-scale architectural projects and smaller customized orders. Its four-layer, double-independent production concept enables processors to manage large-format production while maintaining flexibility for mixed batches.
