Pyroguard has announced the successful fire testing of its Pyroguard Protect T-EI60/25-3 TVI glazing in Reynaers Aluminium’s FlameLine 60 fire-rated aluminium framing system, achieving an EI60 fire performance classification.
The test was authorised and approved by DMT in Verl, Germany, confirming the compatibility of the Pyroguard Protect glass with the FlameLine 60 system for fire-resistant applications. The tested configuration covers fire-rated doors and escape routes, providing resistance to both fire integrity and insulation for up to 60 minutes.
Reynaers’ FlameLine 60 is designed for demanding applications where fire protection must be combined with aluminium framing, architectural flexibility and system performance. The system is suitable for applications including fire-rated doors, escape routes and partition walls.
The tested glazing configuration uses Pyroguard T-EI60/25-3 TVI within the Reynaers FlameLine 60 frame. The result expands the range of tested assemblies available to architects, façade specialists and fabricators specifying fire-resistant glazing solutions. 
The compatibility also extends to façade applications. FlameLine 60 can be integrated with Reynaers ConceptWall 50-FP curtain walling, creating opportunities for coordinated fire-resistant façade designs using Pyroguard Protect glazing.
