Tubelite, part of Apogee Architectural Metals, has launched the INT810 Series Sliding Mall Front doors, a purpose-built system designed to meet the performance, accessibility, and aesthetic requirements of modern commercial interiors. As retail centers continue shifting toward open-concept layouts and flexible leasing environments, architects and glazing contractors are seeking systems that balance durability with streamlined design, something the INT810 directly addresses.

Engineered as Tubelite’s first sliding system specifically for interior commercial applications, the INT810 targets high-traffic environments such as shopping malls, large-format retail, restaurants, multiplex entertainment spaces, health care corridors, educational facilities, and office interiors. These segments demand solutions that offer quiet operation, reliable cycling performance, and minimal visual obstruction, especially where storefront visibility directly influences consumer engagement.

The INT810 features narrow sightlines, using 1-3/4-inch by 2-1/8-inch stiles and top rails paired with a 3-1/2-inch bottom rail. Architects focused on ADA compliance can specify the 10-inch bottom rail and 3/8-inch raised or recessed track, crucial details for projects needing barrier-free interior access.

Panels are available up to 8 by 10 feet, with larger custom sizing offered for flagship retail or wide-span mall entrances. Multi-panel assemblies can be configured as pocketing, one-way stacking, or bi-parting, with up to five panels per stack, enabling clear openings as wide as 40 feet. This aligns with industry demand for expansive storefronts that support merchandising visibility and intuitive pedestrian circulation.
