Yorkshire-based Trade Window Centre has expanded its manufacturing capabilities with the installation of a new SMR-5 Five Head Welder from Haffner, further strengthening its position as one of the UK’s fastest-growing trade fabricators.

Founded in 2022 by former window fitters Dominic Francis and Ryan Arnold, the company has rapidly evolved from a small local operation into a national manufacturer. Earlier this year, Trade Window Centre invested in an SBA Machining Centre from Haffner, enabling them to increase production to around 700 frames per week. The addition of the SMR-5 will now take that capacity even further.

The advanced welding system doubles output compared to conventional machines while ensuring precision and consistency, key factors in maintaining Trade Window Centre’s high product standards.

Our success comes from continuously
investing in technology that supports quality and growth. The SMR-5 is another important step forward for us.

said co-founder Dominic Francis.

Matt Thomas, Managing Director of Haffner, praised the company’s forward-thinking approach, noting that its dedication to automation and efficiency sets a strong example within the trade fabrication sector.
