Overlooking Anglesey’s stunning Lligwy Beach, The Anglesey Barn has been transformed into a luxury wedding venue featuring premium R7 and R2 window and door systems from The Residence Collection, supplied by MG Window Systems and installed by Dekko Windows. Initially specified in aluminium, the project shifted to Residence Collection products for their flush, modern aesthetic combined with superior thermal efficiency, achieving U-values as low as 1.2 W/m²K with double glazing.
Located on a working farm near the historic Din Lligwy settlement, the venue combines heritage-inspired design with sustainable performance. Every building on-site, including guest accommodations, features Eclectic Grey exteriors and Grained White interiors, creating visual harmony across the development. The R7 system’s seven chambers and the R2’s sleek internal detailing provide enhanced acoustic, thermal, and structural performance, while both systems meet PAS24 and BS6375 standards for durability and security.
Each frame is reinforced with 100% recycled PVC and fully recyclable up to ten times, aligning with the project’s environmental goals. Despite fabrication challenges, the phased delivery ensured timely completion. The Anglesey Barn has now hosted its first wedding, earning recognition as one of the UK’s most picturesque and sustainably designed coastal venues.
