Diamond Research and Mercantile (DREAM) City, situated in the heart of Surat, Gujarat, India, emerges as a beacon of modern urban development, spanning 681 hectares. This ambitious project, emphasizing mixed-use spaces and public accessibility, aligns with global trends of sustainable, vibrant, and safe urban living. DREAM City incorporates a Smart Grid system, utilizing renewable energy and efficient waste management, fostering a green future. At the forefront of this innovative cityscape is the main entrance, an architectural marvel boasting STRATO® Extra Chiaro EVA film laminated glass.
Comprising 170 sqm of double-bended and 700 sqm of flat laminated glass, the main entrance exemplifies a seamless blend of aesthetics and safety. Crafted by Rangkala Glass Design, a prominent Surat-based company known for its avant-garde glass products, the project showcases a meticulous combination of two modular laminated glasses, meticulously integrated on natural wooden templates. This engineering feat underscores the synergy between expertise and the quest for a perfect balance of elegance and safety.
Rangkala Glass Design selected STRATO® EVA Extra Chiaro film, renowned for its aesthetic appeal and high-performance characteristics, ensuring uniform strength, safety, transparency, and an unobstructed view. The glass lamination process employed a TK Lamijet-04 oven, a Pro TK Lamijet version with four independent working surfaces and forced cooling technology, ensuring high-quality laminated glasses suitable for extensive projects like DREAM City.
