Unique Window Systems has introduced the next generation of its UniFold bifold doors, launched in its 20th anniversary year. The upgraded system combines refined aesthetics, improved energy performance, and simplified installation.
The new UniFold features ultra-slim 107mm sightlines and generously sized sashes of up to 1200mm wide by 3000mm high, maximising daylight and uninterrupted views. Thermal efficiency has been enhanced, delivering U-values of 1.4 W/m²K with double glazing and 1.1 W/m²K with triple glazing, exceeding Approved Document Part L requirements for both new builds and refurbishments.
Installer convenience has been prioritised with a clip-in beading system that removes the need for tools or wedge gaskets, and a Toe & Heel device that allows glass adjustment without deglazing. Other upgrades include an integrated cill, multiple sizes of universal aluminium cills, and an optional floating corner post for dramatic right-angled openings.
Mir Patel, aluminium operations manager, describes it as “a stronger, smarter UniFold for the future.”
