Şişecam has officially inaugurated its cutting-edge energy glass production line in Tarsus, marking a major milestone in its global expansion in the solar energy glass sector. As the only company worldwide operating across all major segments of glass production, Şişecam continues to strengthen its international presence.
The new Tarsus facility, developed with a €200 million investment, features an annual production capacity of 47 million square meters of high-transmittance energy glass, specifically designed for photovoltaic panel manufacturers. Production is set to begin on October 15, supported by 426 newly recruited employees.
