The upcoming Glassman Europe trade show and conference , set to convene next month in Istanbul, will feature a significant contribution from Turkish glass manufacturing giant, Sisecam.
The company’s expertise in leveraging digital technologies will be front and center, with a keynote address highlighting the evolving landscape of modern glass production.
Gökçe Yüce, Digital Technologies and Simulation Service Manager at Şişecam, is scheduled to deliver a keynote presentation titled “Digitalization in Glass Production: A Journey from Data to Value.” This address is anticipated to delve into the transformative power of digital technologies within the glass manufacturing sector. Mr. Yüce will explore the critical role of data integration, the application of artificial intelligence, and the implementation of digital twin concepts in optimizing production processes. Furthermore, the presentation will touch upon the vital aspects of traceability, sustainability, and energy management, offering insights into future trends and Şişecam’s vision for the industry.
The keynote is a highlight of the conference program and is scheduled to take place at 11 am on the first day of the event, May 14th. 
Glassman Europe 2024 will be held at the İstanbul Lütfi Kırdar ICEC, specifically in the Upper Rumeli Halls and Foyer Area, from May 14th to 15th.
