During the period, Şişecam produced 4.2 million tons of glass, 3.2 million tons of soda ash, and 2.9 million tons of industrial raw materials.

CEO Can Yücel described the third quarter as a period marked by continued global challenges but emphasized the company’s focus on maintaining profitability and efficiency.

Our Efficiency Management Program has positively contributed to our results. We remain committed to strengthening our financial structure and prioritizing high value-added areas,

A key milestone this year was the commissioning of the energy glass furnace and processing lines in Tarsus, launched in September with a €200 million investment. The new facility expanded Şişecam’s patterned glass capacity to 396,000 tons annually and energy glass processing capacity to 47 million m², meeting strong domestic demand and reducing import dependency.

Yücel also announced a €550 million credit agreement with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) to support ongoing investments and working capital needs. “Şişecam will continue to create value through sustainable production, innovation, and responsible growth,” he concluded.
