A bungalow in Winterbourne, Bristol, has been transformed by a striking extension featuring Sheerline’s aluminium windows and doors, earning the project Sheerline’s Installation of the Month for July.
The installation was carried out by Maynard Windows, working with long-term supplier Master Plastics. The team used Sheerline’s Prestige range in anthracite grey (RAL 7016), ensuring a consistent aesthetic inside and out. Standout features include two large picture windows and a 5.8m double-pane Prestige lift & slide patio door, maximizing countryside views with slim sightlines.
In the kitchen, Sheerline Bespoke’s in-house arched frame service was used to maintain the original arched design above a pair of casement windows, creating a unique focal point while providing ventilation.
Matt Maynard, director of Maynard Windows, praised the system’s quality, while Sheerline’s Martin Hepburn highlighted the project as “a stunning installation” that demonstrates the Prestige range’s versatility and design potential.
