Sheerline has launched the S3 architectural roof system, a modern take on the traditional lean-to, designed specifically for contemporary glazed extensions. Available through Sheerline Bespoke, the company’s new product-focused division, the S3 is the latest innovation in Sheerline’s S Series.
Engineered for ease of installation and high performance, the S3 features pre-configured kits, fewer components, and a factory-set pitch, all aimed at reducing installation time. Its clean, squared-off appearance is ideal for modern aluminium structures, seamlessly integrating with Sheerline’s aluminium windows and doors.
A key highlight is its Thermlock® thermal break technology, which delivers exceptional energy efficiency, up to 230% better insulated than traditional conservatory roofs. The system includes 135mm deep and 50mm wide aluminium rafter bars, shallow rafter caps, and a triple-lock wall plate to enhance thermal performance and sealing.
Installers also benefit from optional SheerVent roof vents for improved ventilation, while an integrated guttering system, concealed fixings, and insulated eaves beam ensure a sleek, high-end finish.
Chris Cooke, Commercial Director at Sheerline Bespoke, said:
“The S3 is cleaner, more modern, and meets current market demands perfectly. It’s ideal for everything from glazed extensions to outdoor living spaces.”
Chris Baron, Operations Director, added:
“There’s nothing else like it. Its combination of thermal efficiency, aesthetics, and simplicity sets a new benchmark.”
The S3 positions Sheerline as a key innovator in the aluminium and glass industry, offering a next-generation solution for energy-efficient, contemporary glazed spaces.
