Schiatti Angelo Strengthens Presence in Morocco Through GIMAV Business Mission

Italian glass processing specialist Schiatti Angelo has strengthened its presence in North Africa through a recent business mission to Morocco organized by GIMAV. The initiative brought together Italian glass technology manufacturers and Moroccan industry operators, highlighting the growing demand for advanced flat glass processing solutions across the region.

Representing Schiatti Angelo during the mission was Export Sales Manager Cinzia Schiatti, who participated in a series of meetings and company visits in Casablanca. Hosted at the Hotel Barcelò d’Anfa, the two-day program included institutional meetings with representatives from the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Morocco, local authorities, and leading Moroccan glass companies.

During the company presentation, Schiatti Angelo showcased its expertise in customizable glass processing systems, emphasizing durability, flexibility, and tailored automation. The company promoted its “Tailored Technology” concept, offering adaptable machinery solutions ranging from straight-line edgers and beveling machines to drilling systems and automatic loaders.

The second day focused on visits to several medium and large-sized Moroccan glass processors operating in the architectural, furniture, and decorative glass sectors. Discussions centered on production efficiency, maintenance simplicity, technical support, and scalable automation, all considered essential by local manufacturers looking to expand production and improve export capabilities.
