Santander is preparing to transform Miami’s financial district with the construction of Santander Tower, a 41-storey, 233-metre skyscraper designed by Handel Architects. Rising on the site of the current 14-storey building at 1401 Brickell Avenue, the tower is set to become one of the tallest office buildings in the city and a new landmark on the skyline.
The project will encompass 150,000 square metres of floor area, with approximately 75,000 square metres dedicated to Grade A office space. Santander will establish its own headquarters within the building while offering premium office floors to other tenants. The remaining space will accommodate retail outlets, parking facilities, and shared amenity areas, ensuring a vibrant mix of functions that extends the building’s role beyond a corporate hub.

In line with Santander’s global sustainability commitments, the skyscraper will be built to international green building standards and feature cutting-edge systems for security, digital connectivity, and energy efficiency. The design also integrates efficient vertical transportation, optimized floorplates for flexible office layouts, and smart infrastructure to support modern workplaces.
