PressGlass, a prominent European manufacturer of high-quality processed glass for commercial and residential projects, has strengthened its production capabilities with the addition of Tecglass Vitro-Jet FS Type digital printing systems at its Tychy, Poland, and Ridgeway, Virginia, USA facilities.
The Tychy plant, covering 130,000 ft², became the first to operate the new line in December 2024. The system, capable of handling glass panels up to 2,500 x 4,500 mm, features Tecglass’ patented Side Kinetix technology and 24 double printheads, enabling exceptional precision and flexibility for architectural glass decoration. Custom-designed in PressGlass’ signature colors, the line stands out visually as well as technically.
In Ridgeway, Virginia, the 280,000 ft² facility, specializing in facade glazing, commissioned its Vitro-Jet FS Type system in July 2025. The line has already reached full operational capacity, providing North American customers with fast, high-quality, and innovative glass solutions.
Piotr Zawada, Senior Manager of Equipment Reliability and Capital Investments, highlighted that the investment aims to increase production output while future-proofing operations with sustainable and reliable technology. James Walls, Senior Process Engineer, noted that the system ensures faster printing without compromising quality.
