NOVER, a glass factory based in Chlef, Algeria, has strengthened its glass packaging production capabilities with a new manufacturing line supplied by Falorni Group. Controlled by Groupe ENAVA, a national company operating in the glass and abrasives sectors, NOVER selected FalorniTech to deliver a technologically advanced production system focused on product quality, energy efficiency and emissions reduction.
The installation includes a recuperative melting furnace, three glass distribution channels, forehearths, a metal recuperator and associated equipment. FalorniTech managed the project as an EPC contractor, overseeing the engineering and developing the installation through 3D design. Famor Engineering supplied the forming machines, combining new equipment with overhauled machinery.
A key element of the installation is its SCADA system, which enables operators to monitor production processes and collect real-time data. Remote assistance also allows Falorni technicians to respond to operational issues more quickly.
Following completion of preheating operations, FalorniTech commissioned the furnace and distribution section, extending the process through to the forming machines and subsequent production lines.
The line entered production in May 2026, immediately delivering high-quality glass packaging while meeting NOVER’s objectives for improved energy performance and reduced emissions.
