NorthGlass to Present “CLOUD” Multi-Curved Glass at glasstec 2026

NorthGlass will showcase its “CLOUD” multi-curved glass at the Technology Live exhibition area of glasstec 2026 , demonstrating advances in freeform glass manufacturing and automated tempering technology. Inspired by the shape of clouds, the exhibit features a maximum arch height of 150 mm and a continuously twisted, multi-curved surface designed to achieve smooth transitions and a clear, consistent visual appearance.

The product is manufactured using NorthGlass’s latest self-developed automated multi-curved glass tempering production line. A double-glass laminated composite process ensures precise curvature matching between the two glass panels while maintaining optical consistency, structural strength and laminated safety performance. A key feature of the new production line is its upgraded 3D drawing-based automatic data generation system. Using a servo-driven rotation mechanism, the equipment converts 3D surface models directly into processing parameters, reducing manual input and improving production efficiency.

The high-precision servo control system also supports repeatable manufacturing and process stability. Replacement panels can be produced quickly and consistently without additional parameter adjustments, an important advantage for complex architectural projects requiring accurate curved-glass components. The technology expands NorthGlass’s capacity to manufacture high-quality multi-curved glass for increasingly ambitious freeform architectural designs.

Visitors can see the “CLOUD” exhibit at Technology Live, Booth 11C27, during glasstec 2026, taking place in Düsseldorf, Germany, from 20–23 October. NorthGlass will also be exhibiting at Booth 12A55.
