NovaSklo has officially partnered with Pilkington Technology Management Limited (NSG Group), a global leader in glass manufacturing technologies, to construct Ukraine’s largest float glass production facility in the Kyiv region. NSG engineers will provide technical and engineering expertise at every stage of the project, from design and construction to plant commissioning, ensuring the implementation of advanced and high-efficiency production standards.
The plant will be Ukraine’s first large-scale high-tech float glass enterprise, built to meet the highest international standards of energy efficiency, safety, and sustainability. NSG experts have collaborated on the project’s master plan, optimizing equipment layout, energy management systems, CO₂ footprint control, logistics safety, and comprehensive risk assessment. Modern ESG practices, including occupational safety and energy optimization, will guide every step of the production process.
Once operational, the NovaSklo plant will produce high-quality float glass for residential and commercial construction, reducing Ukraine’s dependence on imports and setting new benchmarks for local production quality. The facility is designed to stimulate technological growth and improve the competitiveness of the construction sector across the country.
The project will create over 300 direct jobs and strengthen small and medium-sized enterprises in the region. By combining global expertise with local investment, NovaSklo’s initiative represents a major milestone in Ukraine’s industrial modernization, supporting sustainable growth and positioning the country as a competitive player in the global glass industry.
