NorthGlass Coating Business Unit (BU) has officially entered the era of ultra-large coated glass with the successful development of a 24-meter ultra-long glass coating processing line. This breakthrough positions NorthGlass at the forefront of deep processing technology for ultra-large glass, addressing rising demand in the global architectural market for oversized, high-performance glass panels.
Driven by high-profile projects such as the 18.3-meter curtain wall for NorthGlass’s own R&D center and the 19-meter panels for Anji’s “Two Mountains” Future Science and Technology City, the industry’s appetite for ultra-large curtain wall glass has surged. In response, NorthGlass engineered a state-of-the-art coating line capable of handling glass lengths up to 24 meters, with independent intellectual property rights and a fully integrated system combining mechanical and electrical software innovations.

A key achievement of this technology is maintaining vacuum stability and long-term performance of critical service valves during ultra-long coating processes. The line enables the production of advanced triple silver Low-E coatings and delivers superior results in appearance, light transmittance, and reflectivity, performance levels that meet or exceed global standards.
This innovation not only reinforces NorthGlass’s leadership in China’s ultra-large glass segment but also ensures its competitiveness in the international market. The new line offers reliable, high-volume production of oversized coated glass, meeting the needs of cutting-edge super high-rise and landmark architecture projects worldwide.
