The National Glass Association (NGA) has confirmed new dates for its inaugural NGA Glass Fabricator Conference (GFAB™), now scheduled for June 14–17, 2026, at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Chicago. Originally planned for April, the conference was strategically moved to June to avoid an industry scheduling conflict and to ensure broader participation from glass fabricators and their supplier ecosystem.

GFAB is positioned as a dedicated, fabrication-centric platform, addressing the operational, technical, and strategic challenges facing today’s glass processing sector. The program is structured to serve senior decision-makers as well as production-level specialists, with executive-focused content for leadership teams and a dedicated NGA Glass Conference track incorporating committee meetings, advocacy discussions, and the association’s annual Fun Run.

A key technical highlight is the GFAB Workshop on Glass Tempering Quality Control, hosted at Skyline Design in Chicago, offering hands-on insight into quality assurance, process control, and compliance within tempering operations.

Beyond content, GFAB emphasizes direct engagement with fabrication machinery, software providers, and material suppliers, creating a highly targeted networking environment tailored specifically to glass processors.

Registration is expected to open in Spring 2026, with early-bird details and full programming to follow. GFAB marks a clear step toward a more fabrication-focused industry dialogue, designed by and for the glass processing community.
