The National Glass Association (NGA) has introduced Bluebeam software training to its online platform, MyGlassClass.com, offering glazing professionals powerful tools to improve design review, sketching, document control, estimating, and more.

Developed by Troy DeGroot, Director of Bluebeam Professional Services at UChapter2, the courses share proven methods to boost project efficiency. DeGroot has helped companies build custom Bluebeam tools and training tailored to real-world needs. “Now, with MyGlassClass.com, users get online access to support, resources, and a learning community,” says DeGroot.

Available courses:

  • Bluebeam Baseline Basics
  • Material Take-offs & Estimates: The Basics
  • Advanced Material Take-offs & Estimates

All are available at a 30% discount for NGA members.

UChapter2’s core construction training is also now on the platform, including:

  • Construction Estimating Principles
  • Reading Construction Documents

“This is more than software training,” says Jenni Chase, NGA Vice President of Workforce Development. “It’s an investment in building the technical skills our industry needs.”

By adding Bluebeam training, NGA helps bridge digital workflows with practical glazing applications, reinforcing its role in shaping the future of glass industry education.
