Miter Brands will close its Medley and Hialeah manufacturing plants in Florida by Q4 2025 and Q1 2026, respectively, as part of a strategic realignment. Production of high-demand product lines, including CGI Sparta and Scout, PGT Commercial, and select WinDoor Estate and Sentinel products, will be relocated to the Venice and Fort Myers facilities. The remainder of the WinDoor Estate and Sentinel lines will be discontinued to focus resources on the most valuable products and technologies.

In 2026, the company will open a new laminated, impact-resistant, glass plant in Pembroke Pines, Florida. According to the text, the facility will address regional design trends, code requirements, and the needs of single-family and multi-family applications. The plant aims to strengthen Miter Brands’ ability to deliver high-quality, tailored impact-resistant solutions.

Miter Brands is also taking steps to support employees affected by the closures. A talent acquisition team will offer relocation, resume, and interview workshops, as well as an internal job fair to help staff secure positions at other facilities. The company emphasizes its commitment to retaining as many employees as possible and ensuring a smooth transition.
