At glasstec 2026, taking place from 20–23 October in Düsseldorf, LiSEC will present its latest developments in insulating glass production at Hall 17 / A64. Under the motto “65 years of experience – shaping the future,” the company will demonstrate a complete insulating glass line live at its booth.
A central feature will be the LiSEC TPA insulating glass line, developed around the growing use of thermoplastic spacers (TPA). The system incorporates the newly developed TPA-B applicator, designed to deliver greater process stability and consistent application quality, including a dedicated corner-closing system that creates a gas-tight, homogeneous connection between the beginning and end of the spacer application.

The line also introduces the FSI-A frame setting station for rigid spacer placement and LiSEC’s SRP-A secondary sealing system with CleanCorner technology. The latter is designed to improve corner quality while eliminating manual rework, an important advantage for automated production and robotic unloading.

LiSEC has also integrated intelligent process monitoring and AI-supported camera systems for continuous quality control. Deviations can be detected immediately, allowing corrective action before defective units progress further through production.
The development represents an extensive redevelopment initiated in 2024, building on LiSEC’s TPA technology first introduced in 2015. The new generation also addresses the challenge of applying extra-wide thermoplastic spacers exceeding 20 mm, responding to changing market requirements.
