After a six-year hiatus, the LiSEC Technology Days returned on 25–26 June 2025 in Bad Arolsen, Germany. The event brought together around 60 glass processing experts from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, and Belgium to explore the latest industry trends and technological innovations.
Cutting-Edge Presentations and Real-World Applications
The event featured seven specialist presentations addressing core topics such as automation, system planning, software integration, logistics, and sustainability. Two standout concepts, “perfect factory” and “complex factory”, demonstrated how modern simulation tools can optimize planning and production, whether for high-throughput manufacturing or compact, flexible production environments.
Innovations in Insulating and Edge Glass Processing
LiSEC showcased advancements in insulating glass production, including the FSI-A frame mounting station and FSA-A flexible spacer applicator, both compatible with all major spacer types. In edge processing, new technologies such as LiTEC slider and laser-based methods ensure cleaner, more precise finishes, significantly reducing scrap and costs.
Smart Automation and Sustainable Solutions
Automation was another highlight, with IG Sort systems fully automating end-line handling using robots for consistent precision. New tools like the VSL-A double-bridge system introduce dynamic, self-learning load optimization. 
On the sustainability front, LiSEC presented machines like the IGD-A and LiTEC Temperature Control, designed to reduce resource consumption. The company’s commitment to sustainability was recognized with the EcoVadis bronze medal.
Data-Driven Efficiency
LiSEC also emphasized the role of digital tools such as “grafana” for real-time analysis and adaptive production planning. These tools help continuously refine workflows and maximize efficiency.
The event reaffirmed LiSEC’s role at the forefront of glass processing innovation.
