Lasvit, the renowned Czech glass studio, presents its latest installation, “Desert in Bloom,” at Downtown Design Dubai 2025, running from 5–9 November at Booth C4. The exhibition celebrates the resilience and beauty of life in unexpected places, drawing inspiration from the stark elegance of the desert landscape.
At the heart of the installation is Rosa, a new crystal glass design by Martin Gallo, which combines precision craftsmanship with instinctive creativity. Complementing it is Grain of Sand by Jana Růžičková, a delicate piece reflecting the serene, reflective qualities of desert sands.
Lighting, developed in collaboration with John Cullen Lighting, enhances the immersive experience, transforming the space into a sensory journey where glass and light interplay dynamically.
“Desert in Bloom” not only highlights Lasvit’s innovative approach to contemporary glass design but also underscores the studio’s commitment to creating art that resonates emotionally, leaving a lasting impression on visitors from around the world.
