LandGlass Technology has successfully deployed a custom-built 42-meter continuous glass tempering line for a leading client in China, setting a new benchmark in high-volume glass production. Unlike traditional oscillating batch furnaces, this massive system uses a multi-zone continuous design, allowing glass sheets to travel smoothly through sequential heating and quenching chambers. The length of the furnace provides precise temperature gradients, ensuring uniform heating and minimizing optical distortion.
Equipped with advanced JetConvection technology, the furnace delivers stable air circulation across the glass surface, enabling flawless processing of large architectural panels and high-performance solar glass in thicknesses ranging from 3 mm to 19 mm. By eliminating stop-and-start cycles, the system achieves uninterrupted flow, drastically boosting throughput while reducing energy waste.
This installation highlights LandGlass’s innovation in automation and quality control, offering Chinese manufacturers greater efficiency, consistency, and scalability in meeting the growing demand for tempered glass worldwide.
