Kuraray is launching a design-focused event series in South Africa dedicated to exploring the innovations behind its advanced laminated glass interlayers, Trosifol® and SentryGlas®. The sessions will feature Jan Scheers, who will present “Transforming Architecture with Laminated Glass Interlayers in South Africa”, offering in-depth insights into how Kuraray’s technologies are redefining the balance between safety, performance, and aesthetics in architectural glass design.
The events will be held on October 14, 2025, at the Radisson RED Hotel Cape Town V&A Waterfront, and October 16, 2025, at the Johannesburg Marriott Hotel Melrose. Each session will combine an educational presentation with a networking lunch, creating an engaging environment for architects, façade engineers, consultants, and specifiers to exchange ideas and discuss the future of innovative glass façades.
Attendees will discover Kuraray’s complete interlayer portfolio, including Trosifol® UltraClear, R3, Structural, Sound Control, and SentryGlas®, each designed to enhance durability, acoustic performance, clarity, and design versatility. The events will also highlight Kuraray’s commitment to sustainability and material innovation, showcasing how advanced interlayer technology is shaping a new era of high-performance, resilient architecture.
