Keraglass, a prominent leader in the industrial glass processing machinery sector and part of the Voilàp S.p.A. family, has announced the successful acquisition of 100% of AVG Automazioni S.r.l. This strategic move marks a significant step in Keraglass’s ongoing commitment to technological integration and delivering cutting-edge solutions to its global customer base.
Founded in 1978 by Mauro Bagni, Graziano Omar Incerti, Marco Cesana, and Tiziano Vandelli, AVG Automazioni has built a strong reputation for its expertise in the design and manufacturing of industrial control cabinets, automation systems, and software. Their deep knowledge in these areas makes them a natural fit for Keraglass’s forward-looking vision.
This acquisition is a culmination of a strategic technology integration process initiated by Keraglass. A key aspect of this transition is the continued involvement of two of AVG’s founding partners, Graziano Omar Incerti and Marco Cesana, who will remain at the helm of the company’s operations. Their ongoing leadership will ensure continuity and drive future growth, leveraging their extensive experience and established relationships.
The successful completion of this acquisition was supported by a team of expert advisors. Deloitte provided comprehensive financial services, PedersoliGattai handled the legal aspects, and PPI & Partners offered invaluable fiscal consultancy. Similarly, AVG Automazioni benefited from the fiscal and legal support of SGB & Partners throughout the process.
Stefano Spezzani, Founder and President of Keraglass, expressed his enthusiasm for the acquisition, stating, “This acquisition, which builds on the success of many years of partnership, represents a crucial step in our growth. It strengthens our commitment to integrating know-how and strategic technologies, and to delivering innovative and high-quality solutions to our customers. I would like to thank the founders of AVG Automazioni for their many years of professional cooperation.”
Graziano Omar Incerti, reflecting on AVG Automazioni joining the Keraglass family, shared his pride and optimism: “I am confident that this acquisition will lead to important developments not only for Keraglass, but also for Voilàp Group, market leader in offering solutions for Smart Cities.”
This strategic acquisition is poised to further enhance Keraglass’s capabilities, fostering greater innovation and enabling the company to continue providing advanced and high-quality solutions to the industrial glass processing market. The integration of AVG Automazioni’s expertise in automation and software with Keraglass’s leading machinery will undoubtedly create powerful synergies, benefiting customers and solidifying both companies’ positions as industry leaders.
