HORN Glass Industries, a leading global supplier of advanced glass manufacturing technology, has introduced a new end-fired furnace at Sichuan Skyhorse Glass Co., Ltd’s newly built container glass facility in Shehong city, China.
The furnace is designed to produce 170 tonnes of glass daily and features a melting area of 101 square metres. It supports six production lines for super flint glass, combining high output with consistent quality. Incorporating the latest low-CO₂ glass melting technology, the furnace delivers energy-efficient operations while maintaining sustainable production standards.
HORN, along with its subsidiary HORN Glass Technology (Beijing) Co., supervised the construction and installation, providing full technical guidance throughout the project.
The furnace successfully produced its first glass on August 21, marking the official start of operations at the new plant. Its deployment demonstrates HORN’s commitment to delivering state-of-the-art, environmentally friendly solutions for the container glass industry, providing manufacturers with reliable, high-performance production capabilities.
