Despite a challenging market in 2025, HORN continues to demonstrate its strength as a reliable partner for the global glass industry. With over 140 years of experience, the company leverages its innovation, engineering expertise, and global presence to deliver efficient, sustainable solutions.
In the first half of 2025, HORN successfully commissioned 12 glass melting furnaces for clients across Europe, Asia, and Australia, with six more start-ups in preparation. The company is also executing three large-scale turnkey plant projects and 26 smaller projects valued at around EUR 3 million.
HORN specializes in container and specialty glass, offering full EPCM services that cover planning, procurement, manufacturing, assembly, and commissioning. Modern engineering, in-house production, and qualified service teams ensure projects are executed efficiently and reliably.
Recent highlights include an energy-efficient oxy-fuel furnace for Orora in Australia, a 120 tpd environmentally friendly furnace for PGP Glass in India, and comprehensive upgrades for Crown Sivesa in Mexico and Noelle + von Campe in Germany. These projects emphasize CO₂ reduction, high glass quality, and extended furnace lifespans.
