Starting October 1, 2024, Glaston Corporation is set to enhance its service offerings by providing maintenance and spare parts for the installed base of TaiFin and HEGLA-TaiFin machinery.
This strategic move will establish Glaston Tampere in Finland as the primary support hub for approximately 80 machines currently in operation among TaiFin’s customer base.
This initiative is particularly significant as the majority of TaiFin customers are engaged in the Automotive segment, a key area within Glaston’s Mobility Heat Treatment business. By extending support to TaiFin’s clientele, Glaston not only increases its service footprint but also bolsters its expertise in heat treatment processes critical to automotive manufacturing and other related sectors.
Sasu Koivumäki, Chief Sales Officer at Glaston, emphasized the company’s commitment to meeting the needs of its existing customer base. “Glaston has customers who also operate TaiFin machines. We started receiving customer queries to provide support for the TaiFin lines, too. In the future, we can provide TaiFin customers with reliable, high-quality support to extend the lifecycle of their installed TaiFin lines for years to come,” he stated.
This collaboration is expected to deliver substantial benefits to both companies. TaiFin customers will gain access to Glaston’s extensive service network and expertise, ensuring that their machinery operates at optimal performance levels. The ability to source parts and receive expert support locally will undoubtedly enhance operational efficiency, minimize downtime, and support ongoing heat treatment projects across various segments.
Glaston’s commitment to quality service and customer satisfaction positions it as a trusted partner in the Mobility Heat Treatment industry. By integrating TaiFin’s offerings into its portfolio, Glaston is poised to not only meet the immediate needs of its customers but also to foster long-term relationships that drive innovation and success in the fast-evolving automotive landscape.
In conclusion, as Glaston embarks on this important initiative, it reinforces its role as a leader in the heat treatment market, demonstrating its dedication to providing comprehensive support and solutions tailored to the needs of both new and existing customers. The synergy created through this partnership promises to unlock new opportunities and further enhance Glaston’s reputation for excellence in service and innovation.
