GIMAV Strengthens Partnership with Messe Düsseldorf Ahead of Glasstec 2026

GIMAV, the Italian association representing suppliers of machinery, accessories and special products for glass processing, has announced the strengthening of its collaboration with Messe Düsseldorf GmbH and its Italian representative Honegger for the upcoming edition of Glasstec, the world’s leading exhibition dedicated to glass technologies.

The renewed partnership is built on a shared strategic vision aimed at preserving and further consolidating Glasstec’s role as a global platform of industrial excellence. Both organizations emphasize the importance of fostering dialogue among international industry leaders while reinforcing the role of associations as structured and reliable partners that promote long-term industry development.

A key feature of the collaboration will be the creation of Casa GIMAV, a dedicated institutional space within the fair. Designed as both headquarters and a networking hub, Casa GIMAV will provide member companies with a central meeting point for discussions, business exchanges, and strategic engagement throughout the event. The initiative highlights GIMAV’s commitment to supporting Italian companies in expanding their international presence while showcasing the strength of Italy’s glass technology sector.

In addition to this initiative, Messe Düsseldorf will provide 50 complimentary visitor vouchers for each GIMAV member company exhibiting at Glasstec, helping to encourage wider participation and increase business opportunities during the trade fair. The partners will also implement a joint communication strategy aimed at promoting Glasstec’s content and strengthening its attractiveness to exhibitors, stakeholders, and new market participants.

Lucia Masutti, Director of GIMAV, described Casa GIMAV as a tangible sign of trust and cooperation between associations and trade fair organizers, emphasizing that stronger collaboration between Italy and Germany contributes to a more innovative and competitive European glass industry. Daniel Feische, Director of Glasstec, highlighted the long-standing importance of Italian companies within the exhibition, describing their expertise as a fundamental component of the event’s success.
