The Fenestration and Glazing Industry Alliance (FGIA) will feature two educational sessions at GlassBuild America: The Glass, Window & Door Expo, addressing pressing industry topics such as supply chain management and field testing of commercial fenestration systems. FGIA staff will also be available at the Industry Pavilion, booth 27096, November 4–6 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.

On November 5, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., FGIA Executive Director Janice Yglesias will moderate a panel discussion titled Innovative Strategies to Mitigate Impacts from Supply Chain Disruptions. Experts Abe Eshkenazi (Association for Supply Chain Management), Chip Gentry (Quaker Window Products), and Jeff Robinson (Intertek) will share practical strategies for managing unpredictable supply chain challenges, maintaining compliance, and ensuring efficient product delivery.

Later the same day, from 4:15 to 4:45 p.m., FGIA Technical Training Specialist Aaron Blom will lead Field Testing for Commercial Fenestration Systems. Drawing on AAMA 503, Blom will explain how to verify the performance of newly installed storefronts, curtain walls, and sloped glazing systems, providing assurance that products meet required air leakage and water penetration standards.
