Everglade Windows has strengthened its long-term partnership with Reynaers Aluminium through its work on the NE02 and NE03 phases of Wembley Park, a flagship regeneration scheme and one of the UK’s largest urban redevelopment projects. The façade package covered six residential buildings, integrating curtain walling, thermally broken aluminium windows and doors, and large-format sliding door systems for 768 new homes.
Appointed as the project’s façade fabricator, Everglade Windows worked closely with Reynaers, developer Quintain, John Sisk & Son, and architects Haworth Tompkins to meet the £227 million scheme’s demanding technical specification. The towers, reaching up to 26 storeys and located within 400 metres of Wembley Stadium, required systems capable of meeting strict structural, acoustic, and environmental performance targets.
The aluminium systems had to comply with blast-resistant criteria, meet stringent air and water tightness classifications, and deliver U-values aligned with modern energy-efficiency standards. The project also included large spans of glazing, requiring enhanced wind-load performance and precise interface detailing with the building envelope.
Director Jayesh Hirani highlighted the logistical challenges, from phased deliveries to adverse weather, noting that collaborative engineering with Reynaers ensured the façades were manufactured and installed with exceptional accuracy, durability, and aesthetic consistency.
