Euroglaze Expands Its Range with the Liniar Alumina Aluminium Bifold

Barnsley-based Euroglaze has strengthened its position as a true “one-stop shop” for the UK trade market by expanding beyond PVC-U frames into aluminium bifolding solutions. Widely known for offering one of the broadest selections of Rehau products available from a UK fabricator, Euroglaze already supplies Liniar chamfered, sculptured, and flush windows and doors, covering a major share of the most requested residential styles.

The next step in that product roadmap is the introduction of the Liniar Alumina aluminium bifold, giving trade customers a single, streamlined source for both PVC-U and aluminium systems. According to Euroglaze, the move is designed to simplify purchasing while keeping delivery reliability and consistent build quality at the centre of the offer. Managing Director Martin Nettleton highlights that customers who rely on Euroglaze for fast lead times and dependable service can now expect the same experience when ordering aluminium bifolds.

From a façade and opening-systems perspective, the key advantage of Liniar Alumina is its ability to integrate visually with Liniar PVC-U frames, especially the sculptured profile range. The bifold also distinguishes itself with finish flexibility, offering woodgrain foils alongside powder-coated finishes, enabling a coherent aesthetic across mixed-material elevations where aluminium strength meets PVC-U detailing.

Performance specifications are competitive for modern glazing and refurbishment demands. The bifold can span apertures up to 6 metres wide, with sash heights reaching 2.5 metres, aligning with typical architectural expectations for large-format openings. In addition, Euroglaze notes U-values as low as 1.2 W/m²K, supported by a patented thermal lock system, while the foiled finish delivers a warmer surface feel, an often-overlooked comfort factor in aluminium door design.

Beyond bifolds, Liniar Alumina can also be fabricated into residential doors and French doors, opening opportunities across replacement, new-build, and commercial applications, helping Euroglaze and its trade partners respond to growing demand for premium, high-performance door solutions.
