At Vitrum 2025, Edgetech Europe will present its latest advancements in insulating glass technology, with a special focus on the high-performance Super Spacer® systems. Under the theme “Efficiency has many dimensions,” the company will highlight how its spacer technologies support energy-efficient, automated, and cost-effective IGU production.
A major highlight is the market-ready solution for Skinny Triples, ultra-thin triple-glazed units that respond to increased demand for thermal efficiency and environmental performance. These units, once limited by production complexity and high investment needs, can now be efficiently produced using Forel’s High Speed Line. Thanks to the flexibility and precision of Super Spacer®, even the central thin pane can be assembled with sub-millimetre accuracy, ensuring structural integrity and thermal performance. This makes them particularly competitive for private-sector window renovation.
In commercial glazing, Edgetech is responding to architectural trends with the Super Spacer® T-Spacer™ SG. Designed for large, multi-pane structural glazing units, this spacer offers high dimensional stability and a sleek appearance. Its availability in grey caters to the growing demand for visual transparency in façade design.
Manufactured in Germany and the UK, Super Spacer® systems are recognized for their durability, clean aesthetics, and performance under extreme conditions. Mike Moran, Vice President of Sales, emphasizes that today’s glass solutions must deliver more than thermal values, they must enable smart production, design freedom, and long-term performance. Edgetech’s presence at Vitrum confirms its leadership in future-ready insulating glass solutions.
