Entrance Composite Door Solutions (ECDS) is expanding its Nottingham facility with an additional 4,000 sq ft of production space over the next 12 months. The investment strengthens the company’s ability to meet growing demand for its high-quality composite doors, many of which feature decorative or functional glazing options.
ECDS doors are known for combining strength, energy efficiency, and style. Glass units are integrated to enhance light and design appeal, with options ranging from contemporary patterns to traditional bevelled glazing. This balance of durability and aesthetics has helped ECDS build a strong reputation among trade installers nationwide.
The company’s growth is underpinned by continuous investment in advanced manufacturing. Highlights include a Schuberts in-house spray booth for precise finishes, bespoke factory software to streamline productivity, and a new beamsaw installed in 2024 to support rising volumes.
With the upcoming expansion, ECDS’s footprint will reach 19,000 sq ft, enabling faster lead times and increased output while maintaining the craftsmanship and reliability that define its doors.
