Completed in 2025, Stonecutter Court represents a sophisticated integration of architectural geometry, advanced façade engineering, and high-performance glazing technology within one of London’s most sensitive urban contexts. Designed by TP Bennett, the 13-storey Grade A office development was delivered with a strong emphasis on sustainability, occupant wellbeing, and contextual design, targeting both BREEAM Excellent and WELL Gold certification standards.

Developed by CO-RE in partnership with Allianz Real Estate and Ivanhoé Cambridge, the project occupies a prominent position within the Fleet Street conservation area, adjacent to the historic Hoop & Grapes pub and within the protected sightlines of St Paul’s Cathedral.

One of the building’s defining architectural features is its striking diamond-facet façade system, engineered and installed by Focchi. The tapered frontage incorporates triangular and trapezoidal glazed modules arranged in repeating diamond formations across four-floor sections. Each façade element was individually dimensioned and inclined approximately two degrees inward or outward, generating a dynamic three-dimensional appearance across the building envelope.
To support this complex geometry, AGC Interpane Architectural Glass supplied custom-made insulating glass units using Stopray Vision-62 and Energy 70/37 solar control glazing systems. Many units incorporated stepped-edge detailing and laminated safety glass configurations, combining tempered and non-tempered low-iron and mid-iron base glass.

Beyond its visual impact, the façade delivers high technical performance, including daylight transmission of up to 70%, solar control values as low as 30–37%, and Ug-values of 1.0 W/(m².K). Integrated alongside photovoltaic systems and prefabricated façade technologies, Stonecutter Court demonstrates how advanced glazing solutions can simultaneously enhance energy efficiency, occupant comfort, and architectural expression in contemporary urban office design.
