Big 5 Construct South Africa 2026 Returns to Johannesburg in June 2026

The 14th edition of Big 5 Construct South Africa 2026 will take place from 9–11 June 2026 at the Gallagher Convention Centre, bringing together key players from across the construction and infrastructure sectors. The event arrives at a time of renewed momentum for South Africa’s building industry, supported by major national development and infrastructure strategies aimed at expanding project pipelines and increasing private sector participation.

The exhibition is expected to attract contractors, developers, architects, consultants and public sector representatives, while showcasing products, technologies and solutions covering the entire construction value chain. More than 28 countries will be represented, including dedicated country pavilions from China, Italy, Malaysia, Pakistan and the UAE, highlighting the event’s growing international profile.

Alongside the exhibition, Big 5 Talks will host CPD-certified sessions focused on digital transformation, project delivery, sustainable construction methods and architectural innovation. Industry organizations including the South African Council for the Project and Construction Management Professions and the Chartered Institute of Building are expected to contribute to the conference program.

The event will once again be co-located with the South Africa Infrastructure Expo 2026 and Transport Evolution Africa 2026, strengthening links between construction, infrastructure delivery and transport development across the African continent.
