The Oxbow and The Wayward, two new seven-story mixed-use buildings along Nashville’s Cumberland River, now feature over 2,100 energy-efficient windows supplied by Crystal Window & Door Systems. Together, the structures deliver 651 rental apartments and more than 43,000 square feet of retail as part of The Landings at River North, a 12-acre transformation of a former warehouse site.
Crystal supplied 2,195 units across three aluminum models: the Series 2000A and Series 2600 double-hung windows, and the Series 2100 fixed/picture windows. Many were fabricated into multi-panel assemblies, with some openings reaching 127 inches high by 88 inches wide to maximize river and city views. Each product features 3¼-inch frame depths, CW-PG50 to CW-PG65 performance ratings, tilt-in sashes for easy maintenance, and anti-drift lock systems for reliability.

All windows used ⅞ -inch insulated glass with Vitro Solarban 60 low-E coatings and argon gas filling, with select units incorporating tempered or obscured glazing. Durable black AAMA 2604 powder-coated finishes ensured both style and longevity.
Developed by MRP Realty and Creek Lane Capital, designed by SK+I Architecture, and built by Walsh Construction, the project sets the tone for River North’s expansion into 1.3 million square feet of vibrant residential, retail, and community space.
