Saint-Gobain has announced the appointment of Claire Garnier as Chief Communications Officer, effective September 1, 2025. She will report directly to Benoit Bazin, Chairman and CEO, and will join the Group’s Executive Committee. Garnier succeeds Laurence Pernot, who is retiring following a transition period.
Claire Garnier brings extensive experience in corporate communications across major industrial groups. She began her career at Total before moving to Air France. In 2010, she joined Tarkett as Head of Internal Communications and was promoted to Deputy Director of Communications in 2015. In 2017, she became Director of Corporate Communications at Imerys, later taking on the role of Group Communications Director in 2018, where she supported global transformation and strategic initiatives.
Garnier holds a Master’s degree in Literature and a Master’s in Corporate and Institutional Communications from Paris X and Paris XIII Universities. Her leadership marks a new chapter in Saint-Gobain’s communication strategy.
