Chronoglass proudly supplied tempered, laminated, and lacquered glass for the new Hélène-Desmarais Building at HEC Montréal, a LEED Gold-certified project designed by Provencher_Roy. The glass was used in railings, wall partitions, and interior enclosures, combining transparency, safety, and acoustic comfort across the five-storey academic facility.
Completed in 2023, the 24,000 m² building features 27 classrooms, a 296-seat amphitheatre, research and administrative spaces, and a central atrium flooded with natural light. The high-performance glazing helps regulate daylight and thermal balance while maintaining visual connection between spaces, a vital element for collaborative learning environments.

Chronoglass’s locally manufactured glass products align with the project’s sustainability goals, emphasizing local sourcing, recycled materials, and energy efficiency. Working alongside Plani-Verre Inc., which oversaw installation, Chronoglass contributed to a landmark that reflects Montréal’s innovative and environmentally conscious architectural landscape, shaping spaces where the talents of tomorrow can thrive.
