As the curtains draw on the 34th China International Glass Exhibition, Beijing cemented its position as the undisputed global hub for glass innovation. From May 26th to 29th, China Glass 2025, the world’s largest glass industry event, captivated attendees with a comprehensive showcase of cutting-edge technologies, intelligent manufacturing solutions, and sustainable advancements. Under the compelling theme “Intelligent Manufacturing, Green Future,” the exhibition successfully convened industry leaders, discerning buyers, and esteemed experts from every corner of the globe, all united in their pursuit of shaping the future of glass production.

A Panoramic View of the Entire Industry Chain
Renowned for its monumental scale, exceptional professional services, and far-reaching international influence, the China Glass Exhibition stands as a pivotal platform committed to fostering seamless connections across the upstream and downstream segments of the glass industry supply chain. The event diligently worked to enhance the deep integration of industry, academia, research, and practical application. In an increasingly complex and ever-evolving international landscape, China Glass 2025 offered invaluable insights and solutions for constructing a secure, efficient, and stable supply chain system for the global glass industry.
Spanning an impressive 106,800 square meters, China Glass 2025 utilized all 8 exhibition halls of the China International Exhibition Center (Shunyi Pavilion). The meticulously organized exhibition area was thoughtfully segmented into thematic zones, including the international exhibition area, glass production, tempering furnace and refractory materials, deep processing equipment, and daily use and decorative glass. This comprehensive layout provided a holistic view of the scientific and technological breakthroughs and green, low-carbon development achievements across a diverse range of fields. These included innovative glass products and auxiliary materials, new energy glass and information display glass, intelligent deep processing equipment, novel refractory materials and combustion technology, intelligent detection systems, and even daily and art glass.
A Confluence of Global Leaders
The exhibition proudly hosted 910 industry leaders representing 31 countries and regions, a testament to its global appeal and significance. Hall E1, designated as the international area, was a vibrant hub featuring a multitude of internationally renowned enterprises such as Glaston, LiSEC, Bottero, Fenzi, SEFPRO, Grenzebach, Benteler, Honeywell, SilverLake Laser, Plansee, Carl Zeiss, Vesuvius, Kuraray, Buhler Leybold, Koemmerling, Quanex, Von Ardenne, Air Products, SORG, HORN, Heye, ISRA, RHI, Zippe, Bando, Dong Yang, and Bernard Bonnefond. Notably, the Italian pavilion, organized by the Italian Trade Agency (ITA), and the German enterprise pavilion, supported by the German Engineering Federation (VDMA), underscored the strong international participation.

The China Glass Exhibition has long stood as the premier platform for both domestic and international manufacturers to unveil groundbreaking technologies, innovative products, and cutting-edge equipment within the glass industry. This year, the exhibition underscored a significant shift, showcasing how the industry is actively embracing “new quality productivity” – a paradigm driven by intelligent manufacturing, high-end equipment, green and low-carbon practices, and a deep integration with big data, AI, and the Internet of Things. The result is a vibrant burst of innovation, propelling the glass industry into a new era of development.
The exhibition highlighted a diverse range of advancements from key industry players, each contributing to this evolving landscape. Triumph Group, through its subsidiary CNBM Glass New Materials Research Institute, presented an impressive array of new products across display and application materials, new energy materials, and high-quality float and special glass. Notable innovations included the 8.6 generation TFT-LCD glass substrate, 30-micron flexible folding glass, 5.0 borosilicate pharmaceutical glass, and power generation glass, demonstrating their commitment to pushing the boundaries of material science.
Similarly, the China Building Materials Institute showcased its expertise with products like 1.8-meter diameter high uniform synthetic quartz glass lenses, intelligent color-changing glass, aerogel energy-saving glass, and anti-halo photoelectric glass, underscoring their focus on specialized and high-performance applications. CSG primarily exhibited LOW-E products for engineering glass, high-alumina second-generation glass for ultra-thin electronic and display devices, sodium calcium aluminosilicate glass, and various new products in the solar photovoltaic field, alongside comprehensive solutions for photovoltaic power plant operations.

Beyond materials, the exhibition also featured significant strides in intelligent manufacturing and automation. Golive presented smart factory solutions for glass deep processing, covering everything from warehousing and cleaning to inspection, optimization of sheet processing, and handling and transmission. South Glass unveiled its new Simba series of convection flat tempered production lines and the Loong system continuous tempered production line, emphasizing efficiency and advanced tempering capabilities. Yinrui showcased equipment and industrial software for smart factory construction, including the Antony series for cutting, warehousing, and laser marking. North Glass demonstrated automated processing lines, tempering furnaces, and ternary flow fans, highlighting their commitment to integrated solutions.
International players also brought their latest innovations to the forefront. Glaston presented the world’s first automated production solution for ultra-thin intermediates TPS® triple glass and two-cavity insulating glass, along with the COMFORT’SEALER automatic sealer, energy-saving TC/RC series tempering furnaces, and the CHAMP EVO automotive glass pretreatment line. Their MATRIX EVO hot bending tempering system for intelligent automotive windshield manufacturing further exemplified the trend towards sophisticated automation. SEPR showcased cutting-edge products from GlassService, F.I.C, FlammaTec, and six kiln pool bottom solutions, emphasizing their comprehensive offerings for glass production.
Lisec highlighted its “360° of glass processing” solutions, including cutting, vertical edging, and the hollow 6000x3000mm gold combination series. Air Products showcased its iPCED and Cleanfire® technology, specifically designed for the glassware and pharmaceutical glass industries. Bottero presented its products and engineering solutions for glass bottle making, glass deep processing, glass cold end production lines, and Solar EPC solar PVB engineering general contracting, demonstrating their broad capabilities across various glass applications.
A key highlight of the exhibition was the Technology Forum, which focused intently on intelligent manufacturing. As a global barometer for the glass industry, China Glass serves not only as a showcase for technological achievements but also as a crucial catalyst for collaborative innovation and overcoming developmental challenges. The forum featured ten specialized technical lectures, all centered on empowering intelligent manufacturing. These sessions delved into the comprehensive transformation of the glass industry from traditional manufacturing to intelligent, and from conventional to green practices. Themes included kiln technology innovation, intelligent tempering equipment, and the pivotal role of digitalization in enhancing the efficiency and stability of glass manufacturing. Discussions also covered visual inspection and fully intelligent production lines for insulating glass, underscoring the industry’s commitment to end-to-end automation and quality control.
As the 34th China International Glass Exhibition concludes, its impact will undoubtedly resonate throughout the global glass industry.
