Chiara Sträßner Appointed as New Director of FENSTERBAU FRONTALE

FENSTERBAU FRONTALE, the world’s leading trade fair for windows, doors, and façades, welcomes a new era in leadership with the appointment of Chiara Sträßner as its new Director. Effective immediately, Sträßner will oversee the organization and strategic direction of the internationally renowned event, held biennially in Nuremberg.

She takes over from Elke Harreiß, who successfully led the event’s development for more than two decades. While stepping aside from the direct operational role, Harreiß will remain responsible for the broader department at NürnbergMesse, ensuring continuity and strategic oversight.

Sträßner brings extensive experience in event and project management, positioning her well to lead one of the construction sector’s most important trade fairs. Her appointment comes at a pivotal time, as the industry focuses increasingly on sustainability, digitalization, and workforce development, key themes for the upcoming 2026 edition of the fair.

With Sträßner at the helm, FENSTERBAU FRONTALE is set to build on its global reputation as a platform for innovation and international exchange. Exhibitors and visitors alike can expect a forward-looking and dynamic event experience under her leadership. The next edition will take place from March 24 to 27, 2026, in Nuremberg.
