BOLD Laser Automation has launched two innovative measurement platforms, the LJS1820S Manual 3D Static Measurement System and the CDM1820S Confocal Differential Static Measurement System. These tools are designed to meet the demanding needs of cleanroom and high-precision manufacturing, particularly within the glass industry.
Surface Inspection with the LJS1820S
The LJS1820S system specializes in detecting contamination and surface defects on glass and similar materials. Equipped with dual Keyence LJ-S snapshot sensors, it performs accurate 3D scans to identify particles, residues, and scratches. Its ESD-safe, static platform and hands-free operation make it ideal for cleanroom use.
Accurate Thickness Measurement with the CDM1820S 
The CDM1820S uses dual Keyence CL Series confocal sensors to measure thickness in materials like glass, films, and foils. Ranging from 10 microns to 35 mm, it delivers non-contact measurements with real-time display and customizable reporting. This makes it especially effective for QA/QC and sample testing in glass production and beyond.

Both systems are built in the USA and comply with cleanroom and safety regulations. They feature intuitive user interfaces, ergonomic designs, and integrated computing for easy installation and seamless data export.
