Bohle has broadened its Alva patch fitting portfolio with the introduction of a standalone black version and an optional back check feature, offering greater flexibility for glass and door specialists.
Previously available only within the PT20 and PT24 sets, the black self-closing Alva fitting can now be purchased individually. This move responds to installer demand for more cost-effective solutions, giving them the freedom to meet customer preferences while protecting project margins.

The product is particularly suited to the glass and door industry, enabling frameless glass doors to self-close efficiently and safely, an essential requirement for modern commercial and residential projects.
Alongside the colour expansion, Bohle has also launched an innovative back check function for both brushed stainless steel and black RAL 9005 matt finishes. The system is designed to absorb sudden forces, slowing down the rapid opening of a door and preventing potential damage from strong impacts or gusts of wind.
The Alva range continues to stand out for its quick and straightforward installation. Unlike traditional floor springs, the hydraulic self-closing mechanism is contained entirely within a slim fitting that fixes directly to the floor via a base plate. Certified to DIN EN 1154 standards, it offers proven durability, precision engineering, and a design that complements modern glass installations.
