Beijing Becomes Global Epicenter of Glass Innovation at China Glass 2025

Beijing, China – The 34th China International Glass Exhibition, also known as China Glass 2025, officially commenced yesterday, transforming Beijing into the global nexus of glass innovation. From May 26th to 29th, the world’s largest glass industry event is in full swing, showcasing the latest advancements in cutting-edge technologies, smart manufacturing, and sustainable solutions. Under the compelling theme “Intelligent Manufacturing, Green Future,” China Glass 2025 has brought together industry leaders, buyers, and experts from across the globe to collectively explore the future trajectory of glass production.

The exhibition spans all eight halls of the China International Exhibition Center (Shunyi Pavilion), occupying an expansive total area of 106,800 square meters. The exhibition space is thoughtfully organized into thematic areas, including an international exhibition area, glass production, tempering furnaces and refractory materials, deep processing equipment, and daily use and decorative glass. This comprehensive layout provides a holistic view of scientific and technological innovations, as well as green and low-carbon development achievements across various fields. Hall E3 focuses on tempering furnaces and refractory materials, featuring exhibitors like AGC, Zibo Gt, NorthGlass, Yinrui, Mountain, Landglass, Hangzhou Jinggong, Yuntong, South Glass, Liaoning North, Ancai, Huaray Precision Laser, Dayang Refractory, Lingnan Refractory, Zhongyuan Special Refractory, Yuandong, Guibao, Zhijiang, Baiyun, Liniz, CBPM-KEXIN, Kamroller, and Henan Installation.

Halls E4, W1, W2, and W3 are dedicated to deep processing equipment, with exhibitors such as Mr. Glass, Golive, Deway, Jingling, Lewei, Boza, Weili, Hanjiang, Tenon, MGM, Fangding, and Boke. Hall W4 is an exhibition area for daily glass, decorative glass, and hardware accessories, hosting exhibitors including Champion Union, Kinlong Chunguang, Sanjin, Caida, Chuda, Silande, Zibo Yumin, Jinger, Xinyuan, Dinggu, Sahara, Xin Lihua, and Gangpai.

Driven by New Quality Productivity, Innovative Achievements Burst Out

China Glass Exhibition has consistently served as the premier platform for domestic and international manufacturers to unveil new technologies, products, and equipment. From intelligent manufacturing to high-end equipment, and from green and low-carbon products to new materials, the exhibition highlights how big data, AI intelligence, and the Internet of Things are deeply integrating with the glass industry to drive the development of new productivity.

During the exhibition, Triumph Group, through its subsidiary CNBM Glass New Materials Research Institute, is showcasing new products across three major fields: display and application materials, new energy materials, and high-quality float and special glass. These include 8.6 generation TFT-LCD glass substrate, 30-micron flexible folding glass, 5.0 borosilicate pharmaceutical glass, and power generation glass. China Building Materials Institute is displaying 1.8-meter diameter high uniform synthetic quartz glass lenses, intelligent color-changing glass, aerogel energy-saving glass, and anti-halo photoelectric glass products. CSG’s main exhibits include LOW-E products in the engineering glass field, high-alumina second-generation glass in ultra-thin electronic glass and display devices, sodium calcium aluminosilicate glass, high alumina glass, a variety of new products in the solar photovoltaic field, and overall solutions for photovoltaic power plant operations. Golive is showcasing smart factory solutions for deep processing of glass, covering aspects such as warehousing, cleaning, inspection, optimization of sheet processing, and handling and transmission. South Glass is displaying the new Simba series of convection flat tempered production lines and the Loong system continuous tempered production line. Yinrui is presenting equipment and industrial software products for smart factory construction, including the Antony series of cutting, warehousing, and laser marking equipment. North Glass is demonstrating automated processing lines, tempering furnaces, and ternary flow fans.

Glaston is introducing the world’s first automated production solution for ultra-thin intermediates TPS® triple glass and two-cavity insulating glass, the COMFORT’SEALER automatic sealer, the energy-saving tempering furnace of the TC/RC series, and the CHAMP EVO automotive glass pretreatment line, as well as the MATRIX EVO hot bending tempering system for intelligent automotive windshield manufacturing. SEPR is showcasing cutting-edge products from GlassService, F.I.C, FlammaTec, and six kiln pool bottom solutions.

Lisec’s main products encompass “360° of glass processing” – including cutting, vertical edging, and the hollow 6000x3000mm gold combination series. Air Products is presenting its iPCED and Cleanfire® technology specifically designed for the glassware and pharmaceutical glass industries. Bottero is showcasing its products and engineering solutions for glass bottle making, glass deep processing, glass cold end production lines, and Solar EPC solar PVB engineering general contracting.

Technology Forum Focuses on Smart Manufacturing

As a leading indicator for the global glass industry, China Glass is not merely a platform for displaying technological achievements, but also a vital engine for driving industrial collaborative innovation and overcoming development bottlenecks. During the exhibition, ten specialized technical lectures will be held, with a focus on technology empowering intelligent manufacturing. These lectures will delve into the comprehensive transformation of the glass industry from traditional manufacturing to intelligent manufacturing, and from conventional to green practices. Themes include kiln technology innovation, intelligent tempering equipment, and the digitalization of glass manufacturing to promote efficiency and stability. Discussions will also cover visual inspection, full-scale intelligent production lines for insulating glass, and how AI and the Internet of Things can reconstruct production processes. Furthermore, topics such as thermoplastic warm-edge sealant, TPSS super spacer, and energy-saving control technology of insulating glass will be explored, highlighting green and energy-saving new materials and discussing material and process innovation under the “double carbon” goal. The vertical glass drilling and milling machining center will be presented, showcasing precision manufacturing needs for home furnishings, buildings, and other fields within the glass processing scheme of sliding doors and shower rooms. The forum will provide a multi-dimensional analysis of the glass industry’s development and its trends from various perspectives, including policy, market, and technology.
