ASSA ABLOY has announced the acquisition of NSP Security, a UK-based specialist in the design, manufacture, and installation of electronic access control solutions, with a strong focus on the student accommodation sector. The move further strengthens ASSA ABLOY’s position within the hospitality and residential access control market, particularly in environments requiring scalable, secure, and digitally integrated solutions.
Founded in 1993, NSP Security employs around 20 people and operates from its headquarters in Borehamwood, United Kingdom. The company has built a solid reputation for delivering tailored access control systems for student housing projects, combining technical expertise with practical on-site implementation.

NSP will become part of ASSA ABLOY’s Global Solutions business area, within Hospitality. According to ASSA ABLOY, NSP generated sales of approximately GBP 8 million (around SEK 100 million) in 2024, delivering a strong EBIT margin. The acquisition is expected to be accretive to earnings per share from the start.
